In 2004, Jocelyn earned a prestigious fellowship with the National African American Women’s Leadership Institute (NAAWLI), a non-profit organization committed to the development and empowerment of Black women.
While living in Milwaukee, she’s served her community on local boards in Wisconsin, spearheading financial literacy programs with the Milwaukee Public Schools and the YWCA, She frequently sought out to speak at workshops and seminars on topics ranging from religion to leadership and personal development.
Since stepping away from corporate America, Jocelyn has channeled her energies into personal growth and education. As an adjunct professor and mentor, she’s passionate about uplifting others.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Master of Arts in Religious Studies from Cardinal Stritch University, as well as a Master of Arts in English from Grand Canyon University. She earned her Doctorate in Management and Organizational Leadership from the University of Phoenix.
Her doctoral dissertation, “Mentoring and African-American Women’s Advancement to Leadership Positions in Corporate America,” underscores her commitment to fostering leadership and growth.
She currently resides in Arizona with her husband of 42 years, her octogenarian mother, and her loyal Labrador Retriever, Solomon. Their two sons live nearby, and their daughter lives in Spain.
